Link (here) to the California Catholic Daily there is an "unbelievable" expose concerning Fr. Donal Godfry, S.J. and Patrick Mulcahey. Blogger Warning: The California Catholic Daily piece contains subject material of an explicit s@xual nature.

Kyrie Eleison.
I have hit the point where nothing I read about Most Holy Redeemer San Francisco of Donal Godfry can shock me.
Is the next program something on the "Spirituality of Fisting"?
(If you don't know what that means, you don't want to know.)
In his book, "Gays and Grays: The Story of the Gay Community at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church", Fr. Godfrey stated that:
"Most Holy Redeemer is not a Catholic church with gay members. It is a gay spiritual institution that is willing to use Catholicism, including the sacraments, just as far as they can be made "inclusive" of the formative experience of the parish, which is homosexuality, and no farther."
Res ipsa locquitur. (The thing speaks for itself.) Most Holy Redeemer is no longer a Catholic Church, but a center for gay spirituality.
The Jesuits have rewarded Fr. Godfrey for his work at Most Holy Redeemer by appointing him Executive Director at University of San Francisco University Ministry.
The Jesuits working in this parish have superiors : local, provincial, general. What do they do to clean the situation ?
And what about the Archdiocese of San Francisco ?
The ones who have charge of the flock and who do not use both authority and mercy have full responsibility on what happens.
I cannot believe what I read... ( but unfortunately it is true)
Let us pray for the enlightment of the ones who have the possibility to clean the mess.
Good and Holy Jesuits Rise Up! Rise Up!
The quote above attributed to Donal Godfrey does not come from his book but from the San Francisco Catholic website (http://www.sanfrancisco-catholic.com/most_holy_redeemer.htm). It is an orthodox Catholic's assessment of Most Holy Redeemer, not Fr. Godfrey's own formulation.
