The Jesuit order aims to produce “human richness” along with academic excellence, the head of the order said at a programme at St. Xavier’s College on Thursday.
“We want human excellence. Our aim is to create academic excellence along with richness of the person. It is not enough to go to school. What is more important is learning,”
said Reverend Father Adolfo Nicholas, the superior general of the Society of Jesus, known as the Jesuit order. The gathering was attended by alumni, priests and others involved in Jesuit institutions.
