May Day The Feast Day Of ?

I, for one, hope that May 1st shows Occupy's vitality -- not because Occupy is the only global movement advocating equitable sharing of social resources,
but because it is one of a very few global movements with the potential, already partially actualized, to become a hub for a multi-perspective consensus about the economic and spiritual violence enabled by our socioeconomic structures and our own participation in those structures.
If my unscientific observations are accurate, Occupy has become a place where many people
who identify as religious, nonreligious, post-religious, and more can come together to witness to and discover what sort of better world is possible, and how to get there.
It is far from perfect; it is an evolving, decentralized experiment. And we'll see on May 1st where we stand.

Occupy has no credibility with sane or virtuous people. If you don't find Occupy repugnant and repulsive, there is something wrong with you. The Democrat Party owns Occupy, and that fact will bite them in the butt come November if Occupy continues with another summer of temper tantrums and mayhem.

Nice though, that their loon Beaudoin is reaching out to the "post-religious" though, LOL. Post religious? I guess we have to look it up, Maybe it means beings set free from the chains of Catholicism, huh?

Well, we've seen today that Occupy is still just a bunch of lazy, self-entitled, authority hating, ignorant, handout seeking, anarchist thugs. They succeed mostly in turning sane and virtuous people against them.

We've also seen that Beaudoin is still delusional, for he believes that Occupy witnesses to a vision of "what sort of better world is possible, and how to get there." Get lost. Occupy's vision is Hell.

Tea Party--yeah!! We can spit in the face of congressmen and civil rights veteran John Lews and no one on this site will criticize us!

Sawyer: You are too funny. Beaudoin is what happens when paganism is allowed to rule at Jesuit universities for forty years.
