On Thursday, January 8th we visited the Jesuit Novitiate in Arusha. Following lunch we had the opportunity to participate in the lecture on African Spirituality. The following is an outline of the content of the presentation for anyone interested. Following the presentation we had a lively discussion with the novices, rector and those who provided spiritual direction. I don’t think any of us will forget the response regarding the rectors mother saying “If your house is on fire, you don’t take time for consultation!!!"
