A postmortem examination has ruled out foul play in the death of a Jesuit priest in a college in Tamil Nadu.
Father Susaipitchai, 55, rector of the Jesuit-run Saint Joseph’s College in Tiruchirapalli, was found dead in his bed on Sunday. Police and his confreres broke open the door to his room after he had not been seen for two days and failed to answer either of his two mobile phones.Jesuit sources in Madurai province say the police ordered the autopsy, which found that the priest died of cardiac arrest on Dec 17.
