St. Aloysius College In Malta Celebrates 100 Years

St Aloysius College Centenary
The Jesuit Provincial, the college rector, together with the Jesuit community and college staff will be marking the 100th anniversary since St Aloysius College opened its doors on October 17, 1907 for the education and Christian formation of boys.
Today, the college looks back at the past 100 years for the many thousands of boys and girls it has helped to give a Catholic education. These include four out of the seven Presidents of the Republic, many MPs, a number of doctors, lawyers, architects, priests, engineers, scientists, managers, teachers and other prominent personalities.
Holy Mass will be celebrated on October 7 at the Jesuit church, in Valletta at 7 p.m. The Superior General of the Society of Jesus, Fr Peter Hans Kolvenbach, will be the main celebrant. All students, past and present, are invited to attend.
A full programme of activities will be published shortly.
