MANGALORE: Dominique Lapierre, the author of famous novel, The City of Joy, a novel based on the life of Mother Theresa and the great city of Kolkatha, visited the St Aloysius College here on December 10. He was in the city along with a group of French tourists who are on a cruise to India. Lapierre visited the College Chapel and made a brief visit to the Information Technology Centre of the St Aloysius College. He was accorded a warm welcome by Fr Denzil Lobo, S.J., the Director of AIBA & AICS. Lapierre appreciated the good work done by the Jesuit fathers and said that he himself was an alumnus of Jesuits and had close contact with the Jesuit fathers of Kolkata region.
