Fr. Z, On St. Stanislaw Kostka

13 November: St. Stanislaw Kostka
CATEGORY: SESSIUNCULUM, My View — Fr. John Zuhlsdorf @ 1:31 pm
Today in the new calendar is the feast of St. Stanislaw Kostka, the young Jesuit who dies in Rome. This holy young man could be a good example for young people today, if people knew his story. It is interesting that in his life he had two visions of Our Lady, one to heal him and another when he was about to die of malaria in Rome.
Here is a shot of his tomb in the Church of Sant’Andrea al Quirinale in Rome.
