Father Hardon’s Wit and Wisdom

Father once asked a person who came to him, “Do you want to be a Saint?” The person said, “Yes Father, more than anything.” Then Father said, “You must not complain.” The person said, “Yes Father. I know I have been doing very well on that point lately.” Then Father Hardon said, “Now comes the hard part. You can’t even complain on the inside.”

Father Hardon told us often that we can never get to heaven alone. If we want to go we have to bring many people with us. For example, we pray for the poor souls in purgatory. When they get to heaven they pray for us.
