Father Doyle was the man responsible for my first steps to the Catholic faith. He was the brilliant, visionary, realistic, hugely humorous, deeply compassionate, eternally motivating and motivated pastor at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Houston, Texas, and his seemingly casual, intricately crafted homilies were delivered straight to the heart. I thank him for his guidance.
