Luxembourg Jesuits

Located in the Belair neighborhood since 1932, the Jesuit community has from the outset ensured religious services in the chapel of Christ the King: Sunday Eucharist and daily sacraments and prayer meetings.

From the 70s Sunday celebrations in french have become a rallying point for many francophone families.Also share many fathers are usually the liturgical and pastoral community Sunday.

Their main tasks are, however, in the spiritual and Christian formation for the Archdiocese.Thus, the chaplaincy of the JEC (Youth Christian students), the spiritual guidance of priests and seminarians, the assistance of CVX Church (Christian Life Communities www.cvx.lu or adult biblical or liturgical future catechists are provided by various Jesuits at Luxembourg. The community currently has 8 Jesuit fathers since 2006, is his superior Fr Josy Birsens. Josy Birsen. It meets every 15 days to exchange and share their experiences, to assess its operation and its commitments. Each year it invites all its employees to celebrate the feast of Christ the King, grateful for the invaluable contributions of many colleagues, priests, religious and laity.
