Regarding Liberation Theology, I went to a Jesuit University in the 90's; I literally witnessed the decline and eventual removal of the topic from the University roster (yes, there were actually several courses offered on it...and I took one). All I can say looking back is that liberation theology brought absolutely NOTHING good to the church (clergy and laity). It was a tool to further drive a modernist, secularist and marxist agenda in the guise of helping the poor in oppressive regimes.
